In order to operate as a Debt Recovery company we are required by our regulator to hold a valid Consumer Credit License. This license is issued and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") and details of our licence can be found at the following location (http://fca-consumer-credit-interim.force.com/CS_RegisterSearchPageNew) using our unique licence number '626622'. The FCA is there to protect consumers and ensure good practice is maintained throughout the financial industry.
As a Limited Company registered in England we have certain responsibilities. Part of those responsibilities is to make certain information available to the public and we do this through Companies House.
Another of our regulators are the Financial Ombudsman Service ("FOS"). The FOS are there for your protection and can get involved, like the FCA if you feel you have a complaint that has not been dealt with satisfactory or if you feel you have been treated unfairly. We have hard copy information available on request and will be happy to provide this for free if required.
In order for us to operate it is necessary for us to hold certain information about our clients and their debtors, amongst other things. To do this we need to hold a valid registration with the Information Commissioners Office ("IOS"). Some people refer to this as the 'Data Protection Register'. We take data protection very seriously and details of our registration can be found on their page.
